TGIF!!!

I'm sick... running a fever now... so sianz... why do i get sick on a friday night and not on a simple weekday so i can have the excuse to get MC and not go to work? haiz... feeling very light-headed now... but after rolling in the bed for 45 minutes... i couldn't get to sleep and so intend to blog and rant abt my situation until someone out there(other than my father) got the heart to ask abt how i feel right now...

got a message from my ex-tutee this afternoon... informed me that she got BBC for her As... well... not really lousy... but always think that she is capable of getting better grades... however... pretty evident that the A level standard must be getting lower or the youngsters nowadays are cleverer...

"Students who sat for their A level examinations last year did better than those in 2003. Results released by the Education Ministry on Friday showed 92.3 percent of students obtaining 2 A and 2 AO-Level passes, including General Paper.
This compared with 90.4 percent in 2003..."

Back to my ex-tutee... told her that a ex-classmate of mine actually got into NUS Architecture with the same grades... but however... that was like 3 years back... so maybe as the students are getting cleverer and cleverer and there are so many people getting so good grades... maybe it might not be easy for her to get in that course... that is if she wanna take that course...
heard that she's working in great eastern... think pay must be quite good... but anything with pay higher than mine is good... cos i'm just getting pathetic IA pay at the moment... haiz... still trying to survive with that...

my current tutee is a JC yr 2 student taking As this year... hopefully she can get A bah... will try my best to teach her... but then... tuition tmr but me feeling so lousy due to fever now... dunno can make it to her place tmr not... haiz... shall see the situation tmr...
