Ranting #50

Finally back...

i'm finallie back after half a year... actually wanted to give up blogging cos i'm simply too lazy... and was super busy last semester in school... but decided to make a comeback... haha...

just a recap...

last semester sux big time... mudpie being hospitalised... being totally depressed and stressed... design project (which made me go school on a sunday)... fyp presentation... i actually wondered whether i can graduate anot... but thanx to mudpie's encouragement... i actually pulled thru the darkest period in my life... thanx dear... even though last sem's results was the best out of all my 4 yrs of study... but i haven got an A+ before... haiz... not to mention my lousy honours...

grades is not the most impt thing when it comes to looking for job... well... even though the govt sector mainly hire those ppl with very good grades... but since i have no intention of joining civil service... think shld not be a problem for me bah... (or ya... civil servants do have lotsa privileges... like priority in A&E depts in hospitals... the nice nice civil service club at west mall etc...)

had my fair share of sucky interviews... interviews that make me wait for nearly 2 hours before meeting the interviewer... interviewers telling u how lousy the job is... how tough the environment will be... and interviewers being real sarcastic and stuff... haiz... sometimes i just wish a job offer will just land in my arms w/o me going thru the dreadful interview...

ppl usually go for their grad trip to somewhere nice and exotic after their final exams... me too... but was simply too poor to go anywhere nice even though the govt generously gave me quite a tidy sum... but i presume most of that money will be spent on repaying the huge debt i owe the bank... (like what vinc says... i'm being a true-blue s'porean by being debt-rich... haiz...)

so together with mudpie... we went to a road-trip to m'sia... very cheapo i know... but very poor us can only go there... we actually went to many places... malacca... KL... penang... actually wanted to go redang... but amazingly... the resorts are fully booked when we wanted to go... haiz... 1st time i went on a trip with mudpie... just the two of us... haha... was pretty fun... even though its more like a backpacking trip there... we do have our fair share of luxury stuff like movies... secret recipe cakes... pizza hut dinner... bla bla bla...

just to digress a bit... think all pizza huts hate me... the ones in s'pore gives me lousy service until i have to call my brother to complain... (brother working for KFC and KFC and pizza hut same mgmt...) and the one in m'sia simply forgets my order too... haiz... maybe i'm not fated to eat in pizza huts...

oh... the m'sia trip... think it's more like an historical trail then a shopping trip since we have the intention to be backpackers... most time was spent museum visiting and heritage sites touring... museum can be quite bored... and so boliao us took many candid shots within the museum...

and as the period that we went was when s'pore goes to the polls (which both of us sadly are not involved...) mudpie decided to sneak into one of the exhibits and take part in the polls... though his vote do not really affect anything...

well... enuff of the pictures... back in s'pore after 6 days of fun... mudpie went to work with Sony... my temp company... and me to look for jobs... which i foresee i will be working in the shipyard in the very near future... haiz...
