Simple pleasures

remember when u r younger, like at 2 or 3 yrs old, a bar of chocolate, a new teddy bear, or even a hug from parents seems to brighten up your day...
but now when one is older... they either pursue materialistic wants to satisfy their needs or just enjoy being in the rat race to climb up the corporate ladder...

what then are the pleasures in life? money? fame? sex? well... i remember i once read somewhere that the one of the best things in life is brought on by simple pleasures... simple yet fulfilling... something that do not cost much yet brightens up one's day...

i remember one of my simple pleasure is to have a piece of the honey cake... a brown-looking cake that costs less than a dollar... something that i do not find in any cake shop... especially the upmarket ones like Breadtalk or Four Leaves... it is simple enough to brighten up my day...
