Ranting #46

Reign of the sucky papers...

exams' finally over... 4 papers in all... 2 sucky papers and 2 okay papers... hopefully my grades will be okay... actually the sucky papers ain't the lecturers' fault... all mine for being so stupid and simply refusing to study the examples and go memorise the rhapsodies... haiz...

nvm... when it's over.... that's the time i start all over again... haha... time to enjoy this week and start on my fyp next week... haha... but weekends need to work... yeah yeah... i'm working as a beer promoter... those that are decently dressed type... how indecent can i be? looks also super duper decent type one lor... so anyone who needs beer (except carlsberg) can buy from me... haha... location not fixed though...

went for a fishy dinner last nite at Hot Stones Steak and Seafood Restaurant at Clarke Quay with mudpie... something like to celebrate the end of my exams bah... haha... anyway... me had salmon fillet while mudpie had chicken and prawn... think the steak there shld be quite good bah... but me no eat beef so no choice...

imagine all the oil splashing onto my face and specs... was called a fishy fishy ber by mudpie the whole night becos of the salmon smell... sianz...

hmmm... imagine doing your own cooking... the meat is simply placed on that stone and u have to turn it almost immediately... haha... but think the meat won't get burnt... dunno why also... haha... think the best food is the sauteed mushrooms in the top right corner of the above pix... and also the prawn... with which i took a very unflattering shot with...

unflattering as my left eye is swollen yesterday (and still is today)... and my look is simply so skeptical... haha... but the prawn is nice... think the seafood combo shld be nice since they have scallop too... anyway both of us were commenting that the chef must be very eng... cos the only prepared items on the table were the potato salad and the sauteed mushrooms... and think he/she just need to cut meat and place on the stone... hahaha... anyway... the place is super empty... max of 2 couples (as customers) at any one single time... the servers actually outnumbered the customers... hahaha...

spent the whole afternoon packing my table... think that's the thing to do after exams bah... lazy me only intend to start my fyp next week... wanted to go school to look for supervisor next week but heard he won't be in from next week onwards... and oso the machine that i need to use is still not working... haha... means i can stay at home and face computer for the next few weeks...

also... changed the look of the blog... think was bored with the previous layout... though this one not actually very very nice but it's simple and dark... hahaha... left out alot of stuff from this new layout to make it more compact...

well well... time to plan for mahjong sessions and oso some outings bah... jio me out k...
