Robots

went with my buddy to Lido today for an exclusive screening of robots... it was some skippy peanut butter thingy... well... since i get free food and free movie... i tagged along since his gf is busy with some other functions...

my buddy even tot there will be some celebs but no... there wasn't... but nevertheless... we still sit in the theatre to watch the show even though we have plans to sneak off halfway thru the show...

Think that this show is funny... well... only at the end of the show though... but there are some things that i've learnt from the show...

1. 'Delivery' of a baby robot is that by the deliveryman delivering the spare parts for the baby. 'Labor' means the hard work in assembling the baby robot. But i think the best part in the 1st 5 minutes is that baby robots come with volume control... meaning that if the baby is crying too loud... u can just turn the knob to lower his volume of crying... if only real babies have that...
2. the transport system in robot city is better than the world's best transport system... it's more exciting than a roller coaster ride and you will definitely stay awake throughout the whole ride...
3. that 'got screwed' has got the same meaning as 'being cheated'...
4. You can shine no matter what you are made of.
5. In a fight among the robots... they also like to have wrestling matches... and also... a fight for justice will definitely not miss out the best fighting scenes from LOTR... the part with the big elephants and legolas trying to shoot arrows at them... which in this case... piper shooting toilet plungers... (dunno what's that... click on the link...)
6. When u are surrounded by a group of meanies and u know u can't fight them... dance to the song by Britney... 'baby one more time'... and u can win the fight... (alright... even though that's only for gers... but in the show... the feat is done by a male robot fitted with female bottoms...)
7. the mixture of jazz and funk is junk...
8. the diet of a robot consists of bolts... and they like to pour oil onto themselves... and there's even a song of 'singing in the oil'...
9. that people... or i shld say robot like bigweld have such good temper that even though rodney tumbled his dominoes... he never scold him... and the dominoes can only be described as 'a sea of dominoes'...
10. robots can fart with their arms... how interesting...

well... think u can learn something even when looking at kiddie movies like this... buddy even commented that the producers of 'ice age' didn't disappoint...

anyway... i laughed real loud for the wrestling and britney parts... luckily everyone was laughing... and actually half the theatre are kids...

btw... borders having 20% on books, musics and stuff til 17 march... only for students and teachers... and huifang actually told me she got the box set for the Lemony Snickets series... wow... 3 books at $64.95... didn't know she's so willing to spend...
