Frustrated!!!
lemme vent a bit of my frustration 1st... been here for 21 mths and finally felt the need to vent my frustration... skip if u want... may sound vulgar in some parts...
okie... i know colleagues here are nice and they give me work to do when i'm bored... and teach me lots of stuff and give me lots of freedom (read: hack care me)... BUT....
i'm not their personal secretary k... i'm here as a safety asst and not a secretary hor... though both starts with the letter 'S' but surely they are not the same k... 'sex' and 'shit' both starts with 'S' and surely they are not the same right?
fancy making me call this call that for them... fax this fax that for them... hello... can't u do this simple stuff to dial a few numbers? BUSY... i might hear u say... but they can go play pool til late and can also play crimson room for the whole morning... surely they can dial a few numbers right? maybe they dunno how to use a phone... but wait... who was that that i saw chatting on the phone?
guess what... secretary are at least much better paid than me... and do i need to lap dance for them idiots?
think save for ordering flowers... i've done the shittest thing of helping them wrap presents... for their church and not for work hor... and i have to be a technician to lay cables when necessary (as the IT guy is not around) and be a waitress to carry food and drinks for them during seminars... and of cos... do the thing secretary do best... write minutes... even though once in my life i never wrote a single minutes before... and i doubt i need to do that too...
of cos... this lowly paid personal secretary can be made to look for info that they might not even lay their eyes on... and made to print things that they could jolly well print it themselves... (they can email it to u to ask u to print it out for them and put it on their table lor... what do u think?) and i think they do not know the existence of yahoo or google... one small thing they oso must come ask me... like where got what course... where can do this... where can do that... cannot just type a few words in google har? maybe they dunno how to use comp... only know how to go chiong at nite and go church...
and guess what... these few days i have been helping this person zap a card that tells of the company's medical service provider's details... simply becos there's not enuff for all the staff here... and i have to print it nicely... laminate it and cut them out one by one... (one A4 sized paper has got 8 cards...) and that person actually wanted 160 of them... what big idiot... another sane colleague tot it's actually a waste of time as people will just dump it away without taking a second glance and that idiot could have just requested more from the medical service provider... what a big a**hole...
why am i so nice to be tortured by these people? well... maybe becos i didn't know i can actually transfer to another company for IA at least til the 18th week... and i surely didn't wanna fail my IA... it could look bad on my CV next time... and sometimes i'm just this nice to help them do all these shitty work...
nvm... another 3 more weeks to go... another 13 more working days to go... since i still have 2 days of paid leave... hmmm... i still have got 5 days of medical leave... and this leaves me with 8 days of torture... let's hope i can get out of this hell pretty soon...
